Sometimes your siblings are just too busy being cool and forget there's people to greet!

After getting shown by DeviantArt User Spyro4422 where to find ripped models of all the Playstation 2 ANB Guardians, Spyro and Cynder from The Eternal Night, I set out to try and replicate at least Spyro from A New Beginning, so it's thanks to him that I had an idea how they modelled Spyro to begin with!

It should be no surprise that I have had an idea on how the first trio of hatchlings I gave Spyro and Cynder to look like, and well, here they are. After 9 months of creation, I have arrived at the point where I can show them off somewhat to you.
It should also be no surprise at all who have influenced in how their hatchling age is shown as, that honor goes to ZilonKing and his fullbody designs for Metia, Ignity and Lura, which you can view here: DeviantArt Artist ZilonKing's fullbody design of Ignity, Metia and Lura ,.

Mind you, what he made was their teenage age and not their hatchling age, but it was still a tremendous help which I can do nothing but praise his artistic design choices, so thanks once again to ZilonKing for coming up with their designs as their teenage self!

I did take some liberty with Ignity since he was quite a blank slate when it came to markings and what not, so I went a bit "unique" in trying to show his markings be more "original", but I do so love the simplicity of Lura's markings.

I tried my best to redo what he had created when it came to their designs, but something like the tail intertwining with the tailblade was something I couldn't really wrap my head around to do correctly.

I also used the commission done by SilverSam02 aka Silverus and commission done by QuailSoup to make sure even from a angle that ZilonKing didn't do, to still look the same. Both SilverSam02 and QuailSoup was a help as well in making sure that Ignity, Metia and Lura looked the same "lookwise" from multiple angles as well!

And I of course can't forget the person who also helped me not tunnel visioning and gave helpful pointers throughout the last 15% of every "Now it's time to make the head details!", which would be DeviantArt User EisVisage , who helped me whenever they had the time. Despite having no 3D or 2D artistic talents to really speak of, they still pulled through when they pointed out all the little details when I was stuck trying to see the bigger picture and raging about how difficult 3D modeling was and is!

In the end, with whatever imperfections I can point out immediately, whether the skinning still needs a lot of work, or the rigging needs even more work, I still like how they all turned out.

What's next from here on out? It's difficult to say, but the next models I'm going to create will undoubtedly be the next trio of hatchlings I've given Spyro and Cynder, which are Stiria headshot doodle (Ice Dragoness) , who's headshot doodle is drawn by Warriorcatdragon which I will take inspiration from in creating her model, alongside Arduris (Earth Dragon) and Novi (Fire Dragoness).
After *that* it will probably be environments or furniture in general.
