Description

This update adds a new TM utility and does some clean up on the import and export scripts.

New Function: Animation Extender

This function is used to create multiple cycles of an animation such as a walk cycle. It is not specific to the "The Movies" and should work on any rigged blender figure. A typical walk animation, for example, is around 30 frames, but if you want to create a very long animation, the script copies the basic cycle across the timeline as far as you like. For a very long animation and a complex rig, it might take a couple minutes to do the job. There are ways to do this manually in the action editor, but this automates the process for you. To use the tool, select the armature object, set the start and end frames to match the frames to be copied, select the frame where the new end frame will be in the timeline, the press the button to activate the tool. The script will copy as many cycles of the original animation as will fit into the range specified.

Clean Up:

Tool tips have been added to all of the utilities. When you hover the mouse over a button, a brief descriptive text appears e.g. "Import TM msh file." In previous versions, you might see a blank or the words "This line will appear in generated docs."
