For years everyone was scared to win against Block Man in the annual gingerbread house contest, because they knew if they did, he'd throw the biggest temper tantrum ever displayed for a robot so small, possibly destroying their houses in the process in order to hammer home the point that he should've won! It was him who had the best house because it looks like the Chichen Itza in Mexico! It even has cute gingerbread guards! Not that it mattered anyway, because gingerbread houses were of course 100% confections and cookies and therefore perfectly edible and tasty.

With him, it was a gamble. Either win and have your cookie creation destroyed, or lose and be humiliated.

But ever since he saved Garden Man from not only being all infected and brainwashed, but also run over by a car, he's mellowed down considerably, so it came as a big surprise to literally all the other contestants when Aurora Man, all braced to have his gingerbread house smashed in by what he expected to be a furious, revenge-consumed Block Man simply because his Gingerbread Itza came in 2nd, looked over at the little dude and instead saw that Block Man, while indeed frustrated, was taking it all in stride and taking 2nd place as, well, something other than a blatant insult to his then-infinite ego.
