*radio silence broken*website: [link]
the last (i think) in the series of mechs designed for mr
i REALLY love how this turned out... i don't know, just pretty pleased with it! note the attachment points on the arms for new/better suited arms
this one was morebased off of conceptual sketches than the others so in MY opinion, its riding pretty close!
anyway, comments are welcome, just don't take yourself too seriously
sketchbook pro, 60 minutesish
i really have no forcast as to my activity for the immediate future, just depends what kinda mood i get in and if my art at school is scanable, thanks for sticking with me thus far!

Niiice looking I like the style of it, something you have a knack for...
though I must say, the face looks a bit punched in... lol, the phrase I can't get out of my mind is "it looks like he took a brick to the face" don't ask why.

well... seeing you draw like this is a constant inspiration to me, you've got no idea.
I've got a couple questions for you if you don't mind...
I can see that you sketch it all out lightly before going over it more heavily... do you block it all out first and then figure out the details? or do you see it all in your head before you even start. if the second one is true, how well do you actually see your finished drawing in your head while you're drawing it?

when using sketchbook pro i start off with the smallest pencil and do a sketch of the 'pose' or stance of the character using lines at first and than filling in a lose bubble outline of sorts. after that i move one pencil up and do joints -> details -> emphesis -> outline or at least something like that
sometimes i go into a picture with a pre-conseived notion of what i want, but that harder as you need to invent something from scratch. this one i already had a base picture that was drawn for me to guide me so i took key traits, sketched them out lose early on and filled them in.
for most of my pictures (allot of this one included) i really am not thinking about what im drawing and i essentially just add lines until it looks good, stopping and thinking only after finishing a section if i want to do something specific on the next part.
i think at least... i don't really remember much when im drawing it seem.... i should probably be more aware next time just to see!
