Description
A bit of an update and redesign for the eight armed obliterator, Octopound. The Hexamatrix dial is now imbedded in his forehead and his colors have shifted. As he’s aged, Octopound has developed more facial tentacles and arm spikes. Octopound has learned how to morph the ends of his limbs into powerful spiked bludgeons.
Octopound is aquatic, but can breathe on land as long as he remains wet. As an adult Enteroctus, Octopound has become exceptionally strong and experienced, able to constrict opponents with enough force to suffocate a Vaxasaurian.
Octopound’s species, the Enteroctus inhabit a watery moon called Delmana, sister moon to Delmago, home of the ferocious Bantoks. Unlike Delmago, Delmana actually has land masses, though they’re largely submerged. The Enteroctus inhabit the shallow sea, where they tend to giant, brightly colored coral and sea vegetable gardens, similar to the Octopus of earth. Their sea vegetables are reknowned by chefs across the galaxy and are the primary export of the Enteroctus next to their brilliant coral art pieces, which they tend to and prune as they grow, like bonsai trees.
However, they’re not alone on Delmana. The dark, deep seas and trenches are inhabited by the Birgusapiens (Clawdad’s species), who crawl up from the depths once a year to hunt the Enteroctus. This competition is what made Enteroctus evolve such strength, as they’re designed to crush and eat Birgusapiens in return. Though in response to this, Birgusapiens have evolved even stronger carapaces and more powerful claws. As is the arms race between predator and prey.
