Description
Scarabs inbound on The Covenant. I wondered how the Scarabs got there and now I watch the film and realized that the Scarabs are deployed from cruisers up in space. As they reach the atmosphere, special jumpjets are activated beneath them to slow their descend. This was one of the best parts in the Campaign. This mission involves you arriving at the Ark. But you have to lower a barrier surrounding the Ark first. Once you do, the Elites, and Humans march to the Ark in a full convoy of vehicles. At this area you get two Hornets to pilot and two scarabs land. This is quite challenging but just as fun as the Brutes also have at least 7 Banshees, not to mention at least several Ghosts to back up the Scarabs and the Scarabs are obviously both armed with a golden Chieftain, both of which have Fuel Rod Cannons. And when you destroy one Scarab you have the Brutes call in a Prowler and more Ghosts and Banshees. Of course you have a Mongoose, Scorpion and 2 Gauss Warthogs (another one is down there fighting the Scarab other than the one that accompanies you), and 3 Hornets which pilots are manning and a Pelican VTOL dropship to back you up plus a Phantom from the Separarists that cleans up the enemies for you afterward."This screenshot, 'Incoming' was created under Microsoft’s “Game Content Usage Rules” using assets from Halo 3, © Microsoft Corporation.

actually, some people I know like them...
granted they are disturbed, but they prefer the brutes to elites

Then that's just them. I don't despise them because of that.

If you watch the film again, you can see that as soon as you get in the Hornet, the Scarabs simply appear in mid-air and fall. DO IT NOW!!!!!1!

Nah it's fine, but yeah, this is Normal mode. And what I wrote in the description is based on this picture. The Scarabs are in the mission The Covenant but you also have every vehicle of the UNSC at your disposal (except for the Transport Warthog) and possibly a handful of Covenant Elites.
