Description Edit 3/2/19: So todays apparently the fourth anniversary of FNaF3, so I guess I uploaded this just in time. I'm just going to pretend it was intentional and roll with it. Kinda funny this came out a day before my birthday, not sure what that says about me

Spidertrap, Spidertrap...
Gunna give you a dirt nap
Swings an ax, stabs your eyes
Springtrap's gunna make you die~

Ooh, not digging the spacing on the left side, I need to fill the voooooid....

So back when I posted Making Repairs , I mentioned that it wa based on the idea of Springtrap repairing/advancing himself via stolen parts and salvaged materials, and mentioned that I was planning on showing a more fleshed out [heh] version of this idea. Well, today I'm making good on that promise. Meet Salvaged Springtrap! ...or Salvagetrap, or [Actual]Scraptrap... IDK, you decide.

Most of the text is pretty straightforward, but the abbreviations in the bottom left corner describing the parts might be confusing, so here's what they mean:
Og = Original, as in the original Spring Bonnie suit
FFB = Freddy Faz Bear
Bon = Bonnie
Chic = Chica
WFo = Withered Foxy
TB = T̶u̶b̶e̶r̶c̶u̶l̶o̶s̶i̶s̶ Toy Bonnie
SpFr = Spring Freddy

The little diagram basically just shows which parts belong to which animatronic. Other images included are details of the main tool hand and how it works, William's dead head, side view of the head, Plushtrap, Springtrap wielding a chainsaw, tools strapped to his back, and Ceilingtrap. Oh, and a doodle of Springy meeting the TDoW for... reasons... (I mean they're both robotic monsters I'm working on, so why not?).

The idea is pretty straightforward; after the fire, a now damaged Springtrap escapes to freedom with whatever salvaged parts he could find to repair himself, using whatever he can find to both replace missing, broken, or damaged parts, while also making himself more powerful and dangerous. In other words, this version of Springy is an unrepentant bastard who actually enjoys his newfound animatronicness. After all, now he doesn't need to eat, need to sleep, never tires... He's almost unstoppable, save for a few pesky quirks (like being unintentionally drawn to laughter). To get parts, he can break into people garages, workshops, hardware stores, old junkyards, farms and farmyards, and so on. William might also have knowledge of where old animatronics and animatronic parts are located that others might not have found or know about, which is where some of the extra limbs may come from.

Some of the most obvious additions are the extra pairs of arms and the nails and screws drilled into various segments, such as the mouth, shoulders, and arms, but some more subtle changes and additions have also been made. For example, the right hand has been modified for better grip and flexibility. Rubber grips have been added to the tips and palms, the missing finger segment has been replaced, the hand has been split so that the fingers have more room to move, and so on. The left hand has also been modified, but less for practicality and more for dealing damage. Instead of grips, metal spikes resembling claws have been added, with the animatronic parts being reinforced to prevent potential warping.

The chest cavity now functions as a makeshift toolbox, in which Springy keeps and stores items in when not in use. An actual toolbelt has been attached to the inside rim of the chest segment, helping keep items from falling out. Springy's preferred weapon, a large stolen butcher knife, is also kept in the chest cavity when not in use. Long tools that would impair movement if stored internally are strapped to the back, which can be grabbed and pulled out when needed. This includes things like a crowbar, an ax, bolt cutters, etc. Aside from these loose tools, he also has a chainsaw bolted to a spare arm, which can be switched out with any of his other arms and wielded. Typically through the arm most switched is the right main arm, which allows him to keep it out of combat and protect it from damage. When not in use, this chainsaw arm is locked onto the back, keeping it out of the way.

In the legs, the original endoskeleton section has been removed entirely, replaced by the spring legs of withered foxy (After all, what's a spring suit without a little spring in it's step?). These have been further reinforced to both bear the extra weight the added limbs and parts, and to brace the legs while running and jumping. To the fingers of the extra arms, hooked, sharpened pieces of metal are welded to the tips both for use as weaponry and for use for climbing. All parts of the joints and rods have been further reinforced to prevent the parts from bending under strain. Other, more technical modifications include upgrades to Springbonnie's software and programming, additions of more modern technologies such as smartphone parts, tablets, computers, etc, repair of the voicebox, rewiring of the parts, etc.

Then there's plushtrap. This Plushtrap is a Springbonnie doll that Springtrap found and modified to act as a little helper minion. As far as the difference in appearance from the game and this, this is because a segmented animatronic doll doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Most real animatronic dolls (like Tickle-Me Elmo, Furbies, FurReal Friends, etc) have solid, non-segmented cloth skins, as to not break the illusion of them actually being horrifying robots. I don't think a doll based on the FNaF-verse characters would be any different. It would be foolish for any company to try and make the dolls look like the animatronics that they are based on rather than the actual character, as they would be trying to make the characters seem real. Then again, it's not like Fazbear Entertainment ever made any good decisions in the company's runtime... Anyways, When traveling, Plushtrap will either ride around on Springtrap's back, in his chest cavity, or will walk around on its own.

So yeah, that's about the gist of it. I'm not sure this could tie into the current cannon (unless Scraptrap was actually just some kind of extension of Springtrap or somehow survived the second fire) but whatever the case this was a lot of fun to make and I'll probably be doing more with this concept. Not sure what'll be for, but it probably won't be anything too major.

Also ceilingtrap watches you sleep~

jesus christ how horrifying

on a more serious note, your hyper-detailed style is PERFECT for FNAF art! Looks just as grotesque as the game itself.
