Description
Acrab--also known as Beta Scorpii--is a multi-star system forming one of the claws of the constellatin Scorpius. The two brightest stars are readily apparent, but Beta Scorpii is actually composed of six stars with a complex system of orbits. I find this one really intriguing for the blue-white hue of both visible components, which isn't a very common combination in the doubles I've observed so far.My Equipment:
