Neptune is an elusive target. I've only managed to catch it once before last week. Even then, I wasn't entirely sure I actually saw the planet. However, thanks to the detailed star charts in the Stellarium app for iPad, I managed to track it down by star-hopping my way from Diphda (in the constellation Cetus) to where Neptune lurked along the boundary between Cetus and Pisces.This is a very low-magnification shot, as I was afraid of losing track of the planet if I switched eyepieces. Only the faint blue tint to that tiny speck hints at its true nature.
