I finished painting Cthulhu last night. I used airbrushed acrylics for the base coat and then applied pearl powders to get him to glisten. I did oils to finish the color and knock down the iridescence a bit. I dull coated him and then added satin and gloss varnishes to make parts look more wet and slimey. I will post shots of the finished dio soon.The model is from Reaper Miniatures Bones series. Cost about $35 and not hard to find them.

Interesting choice for design. Reminds me of the portrayal of Chtulu in South Park.

I had not seen that, but this was a model I found it a comic shop and I got the idea for the diorama.

Well it is a kind of a coincidence this Chutulu resembles the South Park version.
