Description I don’t like Centurions, and the Grey Wings don’t use them. However, 7th Edition has admittedly made Devastator Centurions somewhat useful now, and so I’ve decided to add some to my army. Except, it’s still a ridiculous-looking model, so I’ve settled on a proxy. The Grey Wings use Devastator Sentinels, a more heavily armed and armored variant of the standard walker, piloted by the chapter’s human auxilia troops. However, because the Sentinel chassis was not designed to carry such heavy weaponry, the Devastator Sentinel suffers from a lack of mobility due to the burden on both its power systems and load bearing capacity (a reasonable enough explanation for Slow and Purposeful, I think).

I’m actually quite impressed with how neat a proxy this makes, all it really needed outside the stock kit was a dreadnought twin-linked lascannon, and a sentinel’s about the same size as a centurion, or about the same height at any rate.

Interesting!

I am really looking for an alternative to the GW Centurions. For once as i don´t like their design, and i don´t like the price...

Not sure how the Sentinel Price is, but it looks like a more promising alternative
