Entering the lair though a neglected service entrance, the elf finds no resistance to her intrusion. Is the sorceress careless enough to leave an entrance unguarded?, The Elf thought, Or perhaps it is a trick to to get her to lower her guard, and walk straight into ambush?

Whatever the case may be, she knew the path before her was rife with danger. But she did not hesitate to continue for her mission was just.

She was going to rescue her friend from this horrible place, or die trying.
