And i really like the way you did the rain! It's a great piece.
I think if you were too improve it might be the angle and positions of the rain? As in the rain all going in one direction in a very formatted way (this isn't from experience but from looking at other artwork/animated films)
But regardless, fantastic work - not an easy image to portray!!

This reminds of when I was kid, it was a particular heavy rain (I think it was from morning till night, probably remembering wrong.) and the nabours yard was dented in so it all filled into a makeshift pond/pool. I remember swimming in it for the three days it existed, fun times.
