ok so a rial gun. simply put you got two rails, in between them is a slug made of dense material (ussualy tungsten) a HUGE charge is sent up the rails and it propells the heavy bullet forward REALLY fast like 10x faster than the average sniper bullet. since the bullet has alot of mass and its heavy, it has alot of inertia. the leathal combo of density and inertia means that the bullit will plow through just about anything, like a couple walls or metal armor. theyre like a futuristic weapon because theres way to many problems for them to be used now, like the emence charge needed, the nasty recoil and the rails get pushed away from each other and bend and shit lol so they have to be replaced after everyshot
