The SR-8c was designed as a quick and accurate rifle. Its compact size and optional Silencer make it a top choice among reconnaissance and deniable operations. For maximum stealth, its chambered in the 8mm Caseless AP round, which leaves no traces, such as a shell. The silenced version of the rifle has a permanently attached super efficient silencer, which dampens 80 percent of audible sound from a gunshot as well as the bullets breakage of the sound barrier, giving you a quiet gunshot, much like the movie-esq PHEW noise, which until now didnt exist among actual silencers. I propose a CQB variant! ACOG Tact scope with short stock and open body for less weight. as well as the smaller barrel. come on that'd look epic.

whatabout overlays? what i do simply is select the stock region (or areas i want colored) run a camo over it on a different layer, position it to have the right coverage, i delete everything else, and overlay.

most of the camos i have are bigger than 1000px square - i have good traditional styled ones at 7639x7639 PNG
although due to my lack of ram i scale down to 1000 or so

yeah im considering working on some tomorrow. i will have some free time (especially considering four out of my eight total classes are IT and three of them are in the same room)

got the top one started today. got the coloring for the non camo parts down (barrel, bolt, mag, etc.) and tweaking the colors to look shaded and with depth. not all credit goes to me tho, i had some great input from a few friends and we all collaborated in coloring this weapon (the top one in particular).
one change was adding a full trigger guard, because in all honesty the openess bugged me and my friends, and for that adjustment i apologize, but everything else is going together well.
adding some depth\shadowing to make it look good, and there is a high likelyhood of woodland camo - i have my eye on digital woodland tiger stripes. hope it looks awesome and i plan to keep you posted

i tried coloring it myself, it look ok with the camo, i found a good sheet of acu camo, but coloring the rest of the gun was a failure, it look all 2d i didnt know how to shade or texture it
