Description Yeah, I do fanart. Poser 7, phatpuppy background, gimp obsidian dawn brushes.

This is the first picture I have done with two dynamic cloth simulations at once. In not one tutorial has anyone said "You have to move the arms in strange ways in order for the cloth to not drape over the other character's head bizarrely". Live and learn. So after quite a few simulations, material room trips, and then trying to get the hair on without all of the dynamic cloth giving up and bouncing back, here it is. *sigh*

I love the splayed hand across her back, and the shoes - oh, I would die for those shoes (of course, they'd kill ME, but hey)!

Hey, TeddyR! LOL, I can't do heels for more than an hour before I want to burn them and roast marshmallows over them while dancing barefoot!

You can do them for about an hour more than I can - but I'll be happy to bring the marshmallows!

Looks like you succeeded, sweetie! Very nice image. I can't help but wonder what hoops you (and your characters) had to jump through...

It's not so bad after you learn what mistakes NOT to make. But stumbling throught it blindly isn't that fun. The next time, It will be so much easier.

I haven't even gone over to figure out what I'd need to try dynamic clothing on DS. I think it's probably a $$$ plug-in like that rendering system they're talking up over at the Wylde.

I think before I spring for that, I'll spring for the fancy shader plug-in, or maybe for uber-environment--the whole thing and not the sort of limited one they give you with DS3 freebie.

That's right, you're with DS. I think shader options would be a better deal, then. 'Mause could probably help you with the dynamic clothing in DS if you ever decide to try it. I don't know if it works or not. Dynamic comes with poser, there are so many goodies out there that look amazing that it's hard to justify not trying to learn it. With DS it's different because it's an investment and an extra.

Seeing the way you get dresses and so forth to drape, it's awfully tempting, but like so many other things, my toys have to be dead last on the priority list--and my poor little old 18 year old Lexus is like me: She's old, beat up, just about worn out, the finish is just about gone, and she doesn't have much spunk or many more miles left in her. LOL. Chances are good they'll send us both to the wrecking yard about the same time, but I have to save a bit in case the old girl craps out before I do.
