“Lukas, I know that this is hard to accept, but this is not the time to be asking me any questions…” You spoke hastily, looking at Lukas’ befuddled face. Emil, who was waking up with a panicked face, asked you, “(name), why is the town, no, the world coming apart? This is like… no, the end of the world itself! I thought you sealed our powers properly!”

Lukas, still flabbergasted, swung around to look at his brother in bewilderment.”How- I mean why-“ Lukas stuttered, as you sighed. Re-explaining the whole dilemma, Lukas wore a heartbroken expression, as if he were reprimanding himself on the inside for leaving you alone for so long.

*Lukas POV*

To know that I abandoned her when she was feeling alone made me felt hurt. Why did I ever do that? I love her, and to know that I abandoned her in her loneliness when she was angry at her people for leaving her alone, despite her love for them… I’m the worst.

But I still hope that she would forgive me.

*Normal POV*

“Lukas. Please understand… that I love you for who you are. I respect your decision. If you choose to come with me, but abandon your families that weren’t gods… you can help me save Earth.” Lukas nodded, and you continued with the other option, “But… you choose to stay human, I will sacrifice myself, and use my own body to stabilize the Earth.” Both Emil and Arthur became alert at the word ‘sacrifice’, whilst Lukas stared at you as if you were becoming insane.

“(name)… Don’t do that. We’re your friends. I would never forgive myself if you were to sacrifice yourself over my brother’s decision.” Emil’s bluish purple eyes pleaded you. You looked away, and then asked Lukas again. “Lukas… please, make your decision.”

Suddenly, the ground shook again. Both you and Arthur quickly warped both Emil and Lukas out of the building. All of you ended up on the clouds, before the gates of heaven. You panted, as you had not exhausted this much power in a long time. Healing Lukas and Tino and warping and maintaining all of the seals on former gods was not an easy feat even for you.

“MATHIAS, NO!!” Hearing Emil scream, you see a sword plunging through you, and you fell to the ground, lying helpless as the world went dark.
