“Mathias, how dare you hurt her! YOU FOOL!” Lukas yelled at the crazed Dane, who had just plunged a sword into you before you fell to the ground. Lukas darted towards you, and picked up your motionless body, whilst Emil just glared at the Dane. “Why so protective of the girl, Lukas?” Mathias smirked evilly in reply. Walking calmly towards the Lukas who was kneeling on the ground holding you, Mathias pulled out another sword from nowhere, about to deal the blow.

“Mathias, don’t do it!” Arthur shot a conjured ice shard that froze the Dane’s arm. Panting, Arthur also smirked, and continued sarcastically, “Who would have thought that the very knight that once protected (name) would raise his sword against her… How messed up this world is.” Seeing that Arthur has given him a chance, Lukas bolted off, running and carrying you.

Mathias merely laughed, breaking the ice encasing his arm with ease. “Well, well, what do we have here! So it seems you’ve gone back to your original form, haven’t you?” Arthur cringed. “And how did you know that little fact?” Mathias continued with his maniac laughter. “Wow, you really are clueless, aren’t you. It’s nice to see you Arthur. I never did forget anything. In fact, I’ve always had powers in every reincarnation!”

His outburst scared Arthur. How did (name) not know?

*Far away from the heaven gate*

“(name)… (name), I beg you, wake up!” Lukas shook your body that lies like a broken porcelain doll in his arms. You coughed out blood, and as you opened your eyes tiredly, you summoned your strength and pulled out the weapon stuck in you. The pain shot through you like needles through your abdomen, and the blood poured out of your wound like a running tap. “Urgh…” Placing your hand on your wound, you tried to heal it. However, the wound was closing very slowly.

“That Mathias… He used that sword I gave him when he was a god… Urgh…” Trying to stand up, you fell down again, groaning. Lukas looked at you worriedly. “(name)…” Looking at Lukas, who was becoming more and more hazy. Knowing that you don’t have much left, you told him to kneel down. Lukas’ eyes were sparkling with tears, but he kneeled. “I love you, Lukas…” Holding his face, you kissed Lukas gently on the lips for the last time, and as you smiled weakly at him, and your eyes closed. “No… NO!! STAY WITH ME, (name)!!” Despite his cries, (name) stayed the way she was.

“(name)…(name)…(name)…” Lukas sobbed, as he was robbed off the woman he loved the most. Why must it be now, when I could finally be happy? “Already over with your sad little scene? Aww… Poor little Lukas can’t even save her!” Hearing the familiar hateful snicker, Lukas turned around to face Mathias, his eyes burning with hatred. “Oh, and take your little magic buddy along with your brother, too.” Mathias threw Arthur and Emil onto the ground, right next to Lukas, and Arthur spits out blood as he hits the floor. Emil just laid there, still.

“You will pay for this.” Lukas responded, as his whole body trembled, and his voice seething with anger. “Oh? And how would you do that, pretty boy? You don’t have a chance at winning this… game, you know?” Mathias taunted, and Lukas noticed that his eyes were red, unlike his usual, playful blue ones. “Don’t worry about me… worry about yourself.” Lukas became calmer, and his ice-cold exterior hardened even more.

Noticing Lukas’ change in expression, Mathias grinned. “Well, don’t be sorry about this!!!” Bringing out his favorite axe, Mathias swung down at Lukas.
