“Come on, (name)!” As he extended his hand towards you, you took it graciously. Standing in the clouds, looking down at the cities, you grasped his hand tightly as the both of you soared in the blue skies…

Suddenly, you opened your eyes, only to see the white ceiling of your bedroom. Supporting yourself with your arms, you placed your hand on your chest, feeling as if your heart was about to burst out of your chest. “That dream again…” Murmuring to yourself, you breathed in deeply, trying to calm your rapid heartbeat. Why does it come to haunt me so?

Your body was covered in sweat, and you got off your bed gently, and headed towards the bath. Stripping the stuffy pajamas, you slid into the bathtub, submerging into the warm water. You leaned back and put your arms on the rim of the bathtub, sighing as you did so. “Of all dreams about the future that I could have… It had to be that one…”

Slowly scrubbing your body, your mind unconsciously went back to the dream you just saw. Why is the man’s face so unclear? I never get to see his face! I’ve been having these dreams since 5… and now I’m 20, and I still can’t figure it out! Rinsing the soap off your slender frame, you closed your eyes, trying to remember the man you saw. With your uncanny ability as a person who can see into the future, you always knew that the dream you saw was from the future as well.

Draining the dirty water, you carefully stepped out of the bath and onto the cool stone floor. Grabbing your towel that hung from the wall, you quickly dried yourself, and picked out a (f/c) summer dress. You put it on sluggishly, and walked back into your bedroom. After making your bed, you walked out of your bedroom, making your self a coffee whilst watching the TV on the couch with half-lidded eyes.

I want to know… I want to know who that man was… Your motionless eyes stayed on the bright screen, but your head is in the clouds, trying to gather your thoughts. Creases in your forehead have started to appear, and you hugged a pillow on the couch tightly. “Who is it… Who is it…” Murmuring to yourself, you became more and more impatient. Until this day, you still can’t figure out who the man was.

But now that you closed your eyes, you seemed to see the man in more detail. However, before the face became clear, the image in your head died out, leaving you groaning in defeat, but you felt that you had a memory tugging at the corner of your head that you met this man before.

“Who is it… I want to know who…”
