I'm still pretty happy with the composition of Gourry, but the poem just got slapped up there. It needs a border and a background, and the poem inserted in a transparent layer or something, but I know crap all about Photoshop. >
Ahh.. my beloved Gourry. I love him so!

That is absolutely beautiful. I found this through the sculpture that Zanne made from this picture. Such a beautiful sonnet you picked out as well, it goes perfectly with Gourry and his role in Lina's life.

It's that freakin' hair that makes him so hard to draw, but once you get the hang of it it's not too bad. I think I had a harder time mastering Lina and Amelia, actually. Didn't have too much of a problem with Zelgadis, which is just odd.

Zelgadis.. I love drawing him he's so fun.. I have a problem with Xelloss actually.. But the hardest part bout gourry is make a few mistakes and he looks like a girl..

I have always, ALWAYS liked this image. *_* I think the eyecatch is the way the hair lines flow... and, well, how the entire picture flows, but the hair particularly! The coloring rocks, too ^^ Hmmm... Once I'm way over my ever-recurrent artblocks, I'll have to draw Gourry for you once again! ^^

Thankoo! Did I ever tell you that this drawing *almost* made into 3-D media? Zanne does ceramics, and she had him all sculpted, but some nitwit put a piece that was still wet into the kiln and turned poor Gourry into Gourry chiclets. <;p It was weird seeing him live, tho.
And Georgie art ROCKS!!! I owe you about a million drawings too...
