If anyone can find a reference - or even just a written description of the Wrangel Lemming, I will give them my first born child. Or maybe just a vast amount of grattitude and some art. It's a critically endangered species of collared lemming. But I can't find anything about it aside from its name, status and habitat!

The Red List website. Plus there's a good list of critically endangered species on wikipedia. No images, alas.

Yeh, but I'd give my firstborn to anyone - little brat!
J/k - I don't actually have children. But if you can find me a picture I'll love you forever. And it has to be the correct species.

They're kinda related (being amphibians and sharing a similar habitat) - but olms are weirder. They have no eyes, long, ribbon-like bodies and atrophied limbs. They live their entire lives in underground tunnels. If you freeze them, they can survive in suspended animation for a lengthy period of time, be thawed out, and "come to life". Very strange creatures indeed!
And that's your weird-as animal for today!

Awesome drawing. You are insanely good.
BTW wouldn't a Wrangel Lemming look the same as a normal, everyday Lemming?

Not necessarily, it's a different species and it may have some slightly different markings or something. And I need my pictures to be at least moderately accurate. It's one of the collared lemming family.
