Very nice! I'm looking forward to elaboration on wings, those seem to be tricky for a lot of people. Personally I think I do alright drawing feathered wings, but bat-like wings are a huge irritation XP

Also it reminds me that I've been considering a tutorial on How to Draw Spiders, since it seems they're pretty poorly understood a lot of time (anatomically and otherwise.) Actually I think I might start putting aside some sketches and such for that, thanks for reminding me

Please do one on spiders - I've had an amazing amount of difficulty drawing anything with more than six legs (crayfish are tricky too).

Since I'm not especially good at wings or feet, this will be something of a learning experience for me, so I am looking forward to learning as I teach in the second tutorial. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what I'm going to use as photo references since I am not good at photographing flying birds. I saw some roadkill today and was tempted to pick it up (to photograph wing structure) but thought that might seem a wee bit too sick and twisted given I was in the car with my parents.

Yeah, I repeatedly tried to take pictures of birds in flight when I was visiting Florida a couple years back, the best I got was a pelican minus the head And this was in a boat next to an island literally COVERED with birds.

Wow I can tell you took a lot of time and thought to do this! Very cute! I got the impression you must be a teacher
