Description
finally, my last diploma piece.i've been getting tired of drawing young people all the time and i thought it would be a great opportunity to get some practice at mature looking characters. it took a while to get this one to look alright (though i had more problems with the body than with the face) but it was a very enjoyable experience.

Almost perfect character (and excellent drawing and colors of course), except for those out of context modern-looking boots (mainly the thick soles)...

:3 I love that you experimented with this. A good addition to older characters is making more defined hands, like making veins and knuckles more pronounced, as well as cheek bones, the nose, and smile/frown wrinkles. Good work.

He's fantastic! The face especially is nice, it's regal and he looks like he's an experienced mage; not some jumped up young prodigy. I also like how the clothing looks like a ward against the chill of his own magic.
