Books are great as long as they are written well.
I hated Tuck Everlasting as an example it was written decent but not awesome like Fire Bringer.

i love how you made the words in the book come to life in his mind. it's like he's imagining everything he's reading, and we can see it too...i love things like this. i love being able to feel what he's feeling.

you know, that picture reminds me a lot of how i feel when i read a book. the images aren't really there, but they are, and i can see them if i keep reading, becoming entranced in a book. (i absolutely love your style)
and yes, neil gaiman is a great author. i especially love when amano illustrates his novels. i'm really excited to be hearing he may visit my college next semester *crosses fingers* ^^

What you can't see you can imagine. - This is what I first thought when I saw this picture. I also find this one of the most important advantages of the passion of reading. This picture symbolizes that for me.
And really...It has some "Never Ending Story" feeling... (at least for me
