Description
A quick render of my favourite female DA character.

Created with XNALara Photoshop
Model extracted by
Background is a screenshot from the game.

The characters belong to BioWare. This was made only for fun and I don't profit from this.

I know I said on skype already what I thought. But I wanted to comment and favourite now that I am coming online more.

I love how you use XPS. Honestly it does look like you're using another program to render but it just shows that XPS and post edits can make fantastic looking pieces. also that other programs don't have to be used to make posed models from XPS in a render look good.

Since you managed it here and it looks really great.

So happy you like it. Leliana is my favourite female DA character, I just had to get her right xD
I enjoy working with XNALara, mainly using it though because I do not getting used to other software like blender...too many functions I'll never learn or actually need for posing.

A very well-shot and rendered piece, well done!

I was convinced this was done in Blender. Incredible lighting work if this was XPS and PS only as you said. I am absolutely stunned. The quality is insane. You chose a very clever position in the image as well as an excellent background. It's very harmonious and subtle. Have you considered a companion piece with Josephine?

wow thank you for such great feedback. I never got used to blender tbh - kinda confuses me each time I tried it so far
This was truely made with Xnalara - yet I also edit it with photoshop. If interested - here is the unedited file, before I imported it to PS.  1drv.ms/1xspvyb
For shadows and lightning effects I mainly use the "Dodge & Burn" tool of PS.

Perhaps I am doing more of these close up pics - It brings me joy. ^^

It is very pretty. You painted a lot of shadows in addition. I know how hard it is. Blender was hard to handle for me as well. I didn't manage to make a single render in it. As I said before, I am more than amazed by the result. The lighing is very flattering to colors and model.
