Description
I finally made it! This work is based on my drawing of a Megantereon hunting a Hipparion horse. I changed the original drawing in many aspects,including the color of Megantereon. Some modern cats(specially Jaguar and Leopard) are known to have Melanistic individuals (i.e. black panthers),so probably forest dwelling saber-tooth cats too could show the same color trait...Who knows?
I hope you help me with your advice and critiques as always.

I love the colors and patterns, and the anatomy is superb as always, but I'm not sure the horse looks freaked out enough. In the picture you submitted with just the horse in it, I could not tell that it was supposed to look like it was being pounced upon by a predator. Maybe you could have shown some whites in the eye, or made the neck and legs look more tense and strained in the running motion?
