My attempt at drawing Yokai from Big Hero 6. I purchased the movie recently, along with the art book and Disney Golden book. I cant put them down. I hope to do an analysis of the movie, but I knew I really wanted to draw Yokai. Since he is one of my favourite characters.

Ive been feeling self conscious about my work and I knew I should expand my range, try out new compositions and make get back to what Im’ comfortable with.So Ive gone back to a very comic book style of line-art. Which figures, given he’s a super-villain. I started off taking a photo of one of my DC figures from a certain angle and then using that as reference for this. Then I realised I didn't just want to make it blank. So I drew him staring atop of the San Franksokyo Institute of Technology with a cherry blossom tree and a little bit of the city in the back all set with a twilight sky.

Im still unsure as to whether I’m satisfied with it or not. But I’ll just put it down to my skills at this point, as there is nothing more I can do with this one.
