I love the idea of the backlit werewolf; it feels both real and unreal, an appeal to the subconscious.

I feel like this is a movie poster from a werewolf movie. Love the glowing eyes.

Werewolf Bar-mitzvah! Spoo-ky! Sca-ry!
Boys becoming men!
Men becoming wolves!

Very creepy. Nice work, Leonca! Can you add a wisp of breath like you'd see on a cold day? It would add an element of sound to the mind's ear. There would be no doubt of the intentions of the creature. The stuff of nightmares.

Thanks. Not sure if the cloud of breath would fit, since the strong backlighting makes it look like an indoor environment.

You may have a point there. A moonlit background in the open door might do the trick, but then that might throw the contrast off. Oh well, it sounded good in my head. Good job just the same.

this is scary.... I would be totally freaked out if I opened my eyes and saw him standing there saying: "You sleep yet?"

I know, I would probably faint if I looked up and saw that in my doorway.

reminds me of some continuation of a little red riding story... instead of eating her right away he waits until she is asleep lol

Great work! It seems totally in character for him to be a creepy stalker in the shadows :3
Now, I find it kinda weird, but somehow he looks almost female in that silhouette and pose?
(I also thought he only had a 'wolf' form instead of a hybrid form)

Thanks.
For some weird reason it did seem difficult to make the silhouette look masculine. Maybe the lack of detailed muscle definition?
Yeah, I twisted the rules of the hybrid form to make the silhouette a bit more human looking. I should really do an illustration of what a half shifted form for these guys looks like some time. Kinda makes moving awkward since their legs get more bent and their feet are smaller. Youβre not going to intimidate anyone by tripping and falling on your face when you come after them.

(I wonder if his subordinates crack jokes about him being mistaken for a b**** under bad light)
I think it's the long hair, the raising of the shoulders (which decreases obvious broadness attributed to males) and the not-quite-trim mid-section which could be mistaken for a woman's waist.
It's not that he's not muscular (you can't have muscular definition on this silhouette due to the light source angle), but simply that well, light can be deceiving
(Suddenly I think the deviation would be perfect if named 'Honey, I'm home' XD)
I guessed as much. Having a large wolf pop in doesn't quite pull it ^^ You did do one half-shifted one, if I recall (Hannibal Lecter-type mask on a wolf body).
Again, LOL at the idea of Sombra doing faceplants on the ground while getting his act together.

That would be one fat, hairy female. I donβt know if anyone is suicidal enough to joke like that. He did have a native Spanish speaking subordinate make fun of his accent once, so he shot him.
Oh man I hate that old picture. Yeah I think that was like the first time I tried to draw him or something.
Haaa... Somehow I usually donβt picture him like that. Itβs fun messing with Dr. Jameson because heβs such a wuss, but I havenβt given much thought to how sombra would react to being embarrassed.

Well, it does makes sense that the one person to smack all the other wolves around would also be the biggest b****. (Out of earshot, of course) Um, a werewolf CAN survive one shot, right?
Well, even back then it was clear you had grander concepts in mind than the artwork depicted. I loved the descriptions.
Well, I'm guessing that any embarrassment on his part would either be quickly played out as if he intended it all along, or failing that he'd probably lash out at anyone daring to pick up on it.

My guys are only a bit tougher than humans. They can take more of a beating, but a bullet between the eyes does the same thing.

Oh, same as mine then (Vorsar being the only exception) Regeneration doesn't really help the dead.
I've also mused about the fact that werewolves are almost never drawn with genitals (probably because that would be their Archilles' heel regardless of how tough they were)

I think yours still heal faster than mine. A lot of their strength is mind over body, being able to push themselves while healing only a bit faster than humans.
I could certainly draw mine au natural, I just imagine people donβt want to see that.

Ah, I see--they've got to be careful
As for mine, it kinda depends on how much they've 'trained up' their abilities, plus whether or not they're eating enough to be able to supply that mass.
Mine neither :3 (Sheath? Nope, I don't think so...)
