Well, here's everyone's favorite Mario fish, the Cheep Cheeps (correct me if I'm wrong).

In Paper Mario Darkness in Time, Cheep Cheeps live underwater (the oceans of Ocean Side, the underwater portion of the Storm Cloud, and the Koopa Sea near the Dark Land). As such, they can freely float upward to avoid all ground based attacks (like your hammer). They got differeny abilities, but they all can charge into you as their basic attack.

Here are their tattles:

Cheep Cheep:
"That’s a Cheep Cheep, a fish that appears everywhere there’s water. Because of this, they are quite common, similar to Goombas. Max HP is 5, Attack is 2, and Defense is 0. They simply charge into you, but due to being aquatic creatures, they’re at an advantage underwater. They can freely float upward or downward, so keep an eye on them.”

Storm Cheep:
"That’s a Storm Cheep, a Cheep Cheep that apparently lives inside storm clouds. It is currently unknown how they even existed. Max HP is 8, Attack is 5, and Defense is 0. Storm Cheeps can charge into you like a regular Cheep Cheep, but they hold a new ability of electrifying themselves to avoid getting hit by physical attacks. These are definitely odd Cheep Cheeps.”

Oil Cheep
"That's an Oil Cheep, a Cheep Cheep native in the seas near the Dark Land. They were originally regular Cheep Cheeps, but the pollutions caused by the Koopa Troop Navy turned them poisonous. Max HP is 13, Attack is 7, and Defense is 0. Oil Cheeps can charge into you like a regular Cheep Cheep, but they can also expel some poison inside themselves too protect themselves from physical attacks. They can even squirt some poison at you to damage you and poison you. If you get poisoned from these Cheep Cheeps, you can thank the Koopa Troop for that."
