Gawd, I feel your pain and everyone else's.
Most of the time when I visit a plz account, there's usually at least one chain mail on every page I see. It's not so bad when they're parodies, but when they're the real thing posted by idiots who think that a fictional dead child will spring out from under their bed at night and stab them, I just die inside.
It's not even like chain mail makes sense anyway. I mean, I wish these people would explain how exactly a dead boy will kill you at night if you don't copy and paste a wad of text to 10 other people who very likely don't care about that anyway. Also how pressing F-insert-number-here will make your crush's name appear in big letters on the screen. And also how exactly two minutes after you copy/paste, the phone will ring.
I bet even if there was chain mail that told people they'd die if they re-posted it, they'd do it, knowing how gullible they could be.
Then there's the other less annoying but equally as stupid forms of chain mail; stuff like "IT'S FRIENDSHIP WEEK! POST THIS TO X AMOUNT OF PEOPLE AND IF YOU GET X, YOU'RE LOVED, BUT IF YOU DON'T, YOU'RE A BAD FRIEND!". Wow, so I need to post a great bloody wall of text to my best friend I've known for around three years just to let him/her know that I don't hate him/her and I'm somehow still respectable despite posting spam on his/her page which he/she clearly would not appreciate? Uh, k. SOUNDS PERFECTLY REASONABLE.
But yes, it's definitely a pain in the ass alright. Kudos to you for making this stamp, I shall be using it.
