Description You said you don’t understand
how she could hurt you that way.
You said you don’t know
what you ever did do to deserve that.

You said you loved her
with all of your heart and soul.
You said you needed her
with every fiber of your being.

You tell me that you’re sorry
for all that happened between us.
You tell me that you’re ready
to try again and that you love me.

I simply smile and deny you
since I’m tired of your sob stories.
I simply smile and walk away
leaving you to think about some things.

Karma is a lovely thing sometimes.
