Description
Here's the flashback sequence to today's Zap! in full color with no text, because making it sepia for the flashback hurt my artistic feelings.zap is at [link]

I love the expression on her face in the last panel, it is picture perfect. I also love the colors that you have used here, they are very appropriate for the atmosphere I think you are going for.

Poor girl.
^^ Ha, I love the comic. The style's nice and original, very eyecatching, and the storyline holds my interest with an iron grip. Comedy, drama, and tragedy! It's almost like Cowboy Bebop, but... okay, so it's rather different. You get the idea.
You know, Demonica reminds me of the singer from The Fifth Element. Just a little.

I love that last panel >.< She looks about ready to kick some ass.
Crap, those uniforms are very unfortunately designed, huh?

No, Calle should get all credit for what she does. I very honestly tell her: scene 2- inside the casino.
The reason for this is because if I were to tell her every detail of the scene, it would be like i'm not letting her explore HER artistic ideas. The best thing is, since we are so of one mind, that what she comes up with is more often than not what I was wanting anyway. She totally rocks.

Hey, Calle. Great work. I'm sorry that I rarely comment on your work, I think all of it is exceptional. I'm the dude that writes that "other" sci-fi space opera: Starship Moonhawk (the link on yer front page. Much thanks^^).
I've admired your work since I first laid eyes on it. I think the visual language of Zap! speaks for itself. Vibrant colors and psychadelic lights makes me think back to the "good 'ol days" when Star Trek was only available in syndication. I absolutely love the way you bring all of these places that do not exist, and therefore have no references to draw upon, to life. It is the hallmark of a true visual futurist. Since I've never really talked with you and Chris L. that extensively, I really have no idea if he writes "scene 2: inside casino with slotmachines and stuff" or if he goes into all the minutia about what color the levers and handles are or not. lol Regardless, Zap! would not be where and what it is without the two of you working together.
I am very proud to call you guys my affiliates. I only hope that the relaunch of my own comic, with new and improved visuals, cleaned up storyline and more attitude can live up to you guys' standards. Kudos!
Oh yeah: I told Chris, but congrats on beeing 'Spotted' those months back. It's well deserved.

Gotta love Zap! but I'd love to see some more original artwork... and by "original" i mean "naked rabbit warriors"

Cool, it looks great in color too!
And yeah, like psychol-bob said, you could let some of the color bleed through the sepia. Or have it in color and bordered in a blurred white.

Calle...You can try making it half colored / half sepia. All you got to do is press CTRL U (once you flatten your layers), and at the middle, slide the arrow left so you can get 50% of the color. Then press CTRL B (for Color Balance) then slide the top and bottom arrows (Not the middle) to red and yellow halfway so the colors can still stand out with a sepia feel
Reona looks like she works in one of those Circus Circus hotels.

there's tons of stuff I could have done, but I have to keep the flashbacks the same as they've always been or else it won't make as much sense.
