The Hunger Games is an AMAZING novel!! It's one of the best books I've ever read
I definitely recommend it to anybody who hasn't read it yet. It's GREAT!! Go get it!! NOW!! 
I can't wait for book 2, Catching Fire, to come out on September 1st... Only 6½ months to go!!

Our school sometimes uses extra funds (maybe once or twice a year, depending on how much extra they have laying around) to buy popular new books to give to the students encourage reading. Last year at almost the very begining of the year, they bought a few books about things that seemed very boring to me, and when our teacher read out the description for The Hunger Games, a lot of students said it was "sick" and "cruel" to force kids to fight, but really it's an amazing book with enough suspense, excitment, and action to make me read it 4 times waiting for the release of Catching Fire.
For anyone who hasn't read The Hunger Games and Catching Fire, I HIGHLY recomend them.

But i was reading some of the comments and i agree with you and d desrosiers that it would be TOTALLY awesome if there was some drama between Peeta and Gale (Peeta would win) over Katniss! But i relized the same thing u did thru out the book; Katniss is blind to see that Peeta loves her!

Yeah, there aren't any English libraries where I live, so my mom is going to order the book on Internet, but she wants to wait until Dan Brown's new book comes out (it comes out on September 15th). Even then, I won't see my parents until September 25th, and I'll spend the whole weekend hunting with my dad, so I won't have time to read... So I should be able to read the book around the 28th...
It just sucks because right now school has just begun and I don't have any homework yet, but by the 28th I'll probably have lots of things to do and I won't even have time to read the book anymore
