Sometimes "any port in a storm" seems like a good idea. A flash of lightning reveals a traveler seeking shelter from the storm in a lonely wood, occupied by a solitary ruin. Her presence has stirred forces that have existed for ages, but have lain dormant in this wood, and now have taken possession of this house.I try to be subtle so you might want to view this at full view to catch some details. Think of it as a dark "Where's Waldo".

It seems to become brighter as you look at it (perhaps it's just my eyes adjusting) but either way, it's mysterious and enticing.

The picture is fabulous... but i have to disagree with that "rain" ... its way too straight... its unnatural and distracts me from the living artistic beatyness of the house n surroundings...

The vertical texture is nice, it's almost like rain, it's an interesting effect. It's all dark and dubious, does this place exist? Seems like it would be a scary place to visit.

I can't find wicked Wally -- but there's a lot of light in this room right now.
Nonetheless, it's a most evocative piece which has also served to remind me to cut back the vines slowly swallowing my lil ol' house.

Wow kewl deal you have here brian. Looks very nice. I't would be better though if it was a little lighter.....not just brighter but brighter with some more saturation so it doesn't take away from the image at all. But it's fine the way it is BTW I took your advise a while back and started doing photo manips, useing DA stock photos. BTW is this a photo or is it all free hand?
