Description

A while ago I made an undertale character called RayRay and although I love her to bits, I really didn’t feel like she was a good ‘sona’ for me so… uh… here we have this design!

Ideas for her so far under the cut:
Backstory:

Torridia was originally a flame elemental (like Grillby and the green flame girl from hotlands) but her flame was unusually weak. She had great difficulty keeping her form and was sure to perish at anything cooler than the hot lands.
To help her survive, she was built a body; a sort of incubator where all outside forces would be kept away from her soul, letting it exist safely and warmly. Once inside this safe environment, her soul flourished beyond anyone’s expectation. Although absolutely dreadful in it’s defense, her soul was a powerhouse, it seemed. A bit of a glass cannon, as some may put it.

She was now able to generate a practically limitless amount of flames if she wished and even dowsing her in water, so long as none got inside of her core, would prove fruitless (though it is still a bit painful).

Feeling safe and strong, Torridia now has the confidence to travel around the underground and do whatever she so desires. She used to visit Snowdin the least, however, as the cold temperature still makes her feel a bit uneasy sometimes. It is the home of her good friends, however, so her visits have been more frequent as of late.

Body Mechanics:
The body is rather sturdy and is very good at handling heat, which seems like an obvious function to have. The fire is actually not hot (just pleasantly warm) most of the time, but you can tell when the fire is meant to hurt, as smoke will start to emit from the holes around her upper chest area.

Torridia never really touches the ground, using her flames to keep herself mid air. She mostly uses the ones at her feet, but for some more complicated maneuvering she uses the rings that serve as ‘hand indicators’. Torridia finds it easier to manipulate flame if it has a ‘base’ to attach itself to. It doesn’t need to be a burning material, as the fire itself is magical and doesn’t need tinder anyway. The rings, however, help her shape and aim her flames which is useful for both flying and combat.
The knob on her chest can be used to ‘turn off’ her head. This doesn’t actually hurt her in the least and she often does it herself in order to make jokes or prank people.
If you turn it far enough, however, it will shut off all exits and fire won’t be able to come out of her anymore. Although this will make sure that nothing can enter and damage her body/soul from the inside, this also means she cannot move anymore and is now trapped. This is a last resort sort of option for her, if all else seems to fail.
