Most (if not all) of the donation sidequests in Zelda has a reward for Link. To be honest, nobody would donate in videogames if there's no reward - That kinda defeats the purpose of donating, huh?Paneling inspired by this awesome comic: rdanys.deviantart.com/art/Link… and the ign reaction guys.

I would donate if my money bag was full. IT's so annoying to find a golden rupee or something and then be like "Oh, wait, I can't get more rupees!" Either your playing Twilight Princess and have to fetch it later... or you're playing another game and the rupees just disappear.

I love how the Twilight Princess Link and Hero of Time Link (Possibly due to familial relations? >.>) actually look angry, while Skyward Sword and Worlds Links mostly just look annoyed in that second panel.
