Description
Yet another Link and Mega Sableye picture. In Twilight Princess, remember how you had to put a rupee back into its chest because your wallet was usually full?
Well, Mega Sableye's 'rupee' might literally be too large to fit into TP Link's apparently dinky wallet. Link's wallet (in most Zelda games) is full anyway.

Oh I HATE when that would happen!
"Ooh, you found a orange rupee in that underwater chest! But it won't fit in your bottomless pockets, so put it back. And it's not like you can ever remember where that stupid underwater chest is, because your too busy with finding those stupid golden bugs to bother to find it again!"

He might fit them since they're a lot more smaller.

TP link sucked for that.
WW HD Link was worse. I'd always go around with a full wallet, looking for heart pieces and I'd only get silver and gold rupees.

I remember in Phantom Hourglass how if you came across any Gray rupees (which made you lose money instead of gain) Link would hold them above his head and have a disappointed and sad face. I like to think that he sobs while stuffing them into his rupee sack with Ciel looking at him likes he's a psychopath. Oh Link, you're so silly but we love you.

Did you know In My Little Pony's Episode of The Canterlot Wedding, in the song 'This Day Aria' the pink girl Cadence appears in her reflection of a rupee-like gem? C:

If I had a Rupee for every time someone made this joke, I could buy a set of Magic Armor WITHOUT the discount.
...I assume.

I know this feeling too well... In TP I sometimes put the golden armour on and wait until it makes my rupees disappear (however it does that... xD) just so I can open a treasure chest. I just can't leave any treasure chest behind Β

LOL OMG IT'S SO TRUE
There have been SO MANY times in a dungeon when I'm like "Oh boy, look, a red rupee!" and it's like YOUR WALLET IS FULL SO LETS JUST PUT THIS BACK NOW" and I'm like "no. you do not pass up free money"
Video game logic.
Also, the original wallet in TP can fit 300 rupees, but not 300 ACTUAL rupees. It fits the VALUE of 300 rupees, which is so stupid.

Maybe when you get a Rupee thatΒ is aΒ higher value than aΒ Green Rupee, the Rupee turns into multiple Green Rupees equal to the value of the original Rupee. Like for example, if you get a Red Rupee (which is worth 20 Green Rupees), the Red Rupee turns into 20 Green Rupees.
...and I just made a new Zelda theory on the fly. XD

Or maybe they have a special energy. And that enery depends on the value of each ruppe, which is how Link always has the exact change when buying items
