For eventSeems Like everyone wants to dress Kiyomi up. Lol x.x; My poor daughter, all she wanted to do is hide under her futon blanket for the whole festival event but apparently her friends had other ideas in mind for her. Lovely Rui dressed her up and playful Essu did a rainbow face paint on her cheek. Lol That doesn't add more embarrassment to her...nope lol.
This is a collab i did with my friend. Q.Q I feel so bad because she drew the girls so beautiful and I fucked them up with my shitty background and crappy coloring -sobs- Been too stress this past few weeks I just haven't the patience / desire to do much art. Hopefully things will calm down now though.
Sorry if I miss spelled the booths names. X.x; I suck with japanese lol had to go on some google sites to look stuff up but I could still be wrong.

I love the way you coloured and patterned this, you're always so neat and pick such well-balanced colours! Essu is adorable in that delicate pink and Rui is super classy, and that light blue goes so well with Kiyomi's hair I had to pinch it for my festival picture too! X'D -shameless- I went searching for patterns after seeing this as a WIP as well, they just look so good when you use them, I had to try learn myself! Though I can't put them on nearly as well as you yet :'D -will keep trying!-

I would thank Kiyomi's friends for bringing her out, she is a beautiful character and very lovely in a kimono~! I honestly believe the background really brings out these three beauties, especially the ornate patterns in their clothes. For me, it's easier to focus on these three with the silhouettes in the back (it's Kiyomi's time of embarrassment their time together after all~) The sky backdrop finishes the pretty composition- the bottom picture having detailed patterns within a solid color background goes nicely with the top portion of the picture that is occupied by lesser amounts of pattern (in Rui's umbrella), which is balanced out by the pretty glowing lanterns, stars, and booths. You even went ahead to include booth names to add to the japanese festival setting (*´▽`*) Your art is so crisp and clean with fine line strokes, as it is also wonderfully shown in your gallery~! It's a splendid collab of them hanging out outside of work~ Hope your coming weeks will be much better ✿
