Thought it would be nice to draw two princesses of the moon together. While I was coloring this in I started wondering if I should have done Sailor Moon instead of Princess Serenity. Maybe another picture down the road I will do that.The style of Luna is basically from my obsession with the movie / book: The Last Unicorn. I loved the movie when I was a child and started to get back into it. I also wanted to draw her away from the MLP style as well.
Not happy with Serenity's mouth...will fix it but for now...meh lol.

Serenity looks very much at peace here while Luna looks concerned, as if she knows something is going to happen but doesn't want to ruin the other princess's sense of fun. I think the TLU style works here; it makes her seem more mystical and connected with the moon!
