My god so many ponies. The full-sized version is twice this size, so you know, though I think this one's more than big enough to show off the details found in the pony maker.
Ponies all created using 's 'full' pony maker. Any other images are likely from the games, from picture tubes, and Deviantart's stock resources (including the sonic screwdriver and the companion cube, if you do a search for either of those in Stock you'll find em).
Valve owns the Black Mesa, Combine and Aperture logos as well as all canon characters from Half Life and Portal.
Warner Brothers / Monolith / Day 1 own the Armacham logo and all their canon characters from Fear.
I own everything else, some characters were inspired by others online, the logo is a mix of the above games done by me.

Yes. I DO in fact have the full pony-codes for all of these. If you WANT one, just tell me WHICH ones. Remember though that some codes need to have the 'constraint' turned off (specifically the headcrabs and other monsters, and the Cores), and a lot of things were added after generation.

LOL! Well, while they're all kinds of fun, they're definitely outside my Repurposed story line, not necessarily that FAR from it, but I'd have to stretch quite a bit to include TF2 as-is. The zombies and folks from L4d.... I think I could probably work in some of the survivors as refugees from certain Cities.

You should do standalone versions of each character art in this picture. Also, is Bennet supposed to be Walter Bennet from Half-Life 1: Blue Shift?

Yeah Bennet is, the only one overtly missing from the Black Mesa team is actually Keller, from Decay, because he's a bit of a douche and in a wheelchair.
I actually *have* the individual images, but there are sooooo many of them. I do however have their pony codes from the maker, with which anyone can recreate the basics (without any markings or additions I made after putting them together like this, that is).

I personally don't think Richard is an outright douche. He was probably stressed out from the events leading up to the cascade, as well as everything he had to do as a result of the cascade. That sort of stress could make anypony act like a douche even if they aren't. I mean, he did show genuine relief that Gina & Colette were still alive & in 1 piece after killing that Alien Aircraft. Also, do you think pony Richard would be a Unicorn, Pegasus, or Earth Pony? As to other characters, if you ponify Lauren (Barney's girlfriend. There's a photo of her in his locker where you get the Kevlar), you should make her a Changelingfor 2 reasons:
- it would create an air of humor in regards to Barney's hatred of such alien beings, considering he hates the face-hugging zombie virus Isaac keeps as a pet yet he dated a fricking polymorphic succubus who genuinely loved him back due to being the actual intended target of his love (as opposed to taking the place of the intended target)
- having a male Earth Pony dating a Female Changeling would be a nice change

As for Keller, hm - many of the scientists and inventors are unis or pegs - I think he might be a peg with damaged wings.

I actually find it funny how among the Half-Life/Portal universe player characters, all the stallions are Earth Ponies, but none of the mares are. & like I said, there's a photo of Lauren in Barney's locker. If she does show up, like I said, making her a Changeling to break the "female Changelings only go after Unicorns or Pegasi when in desire of a genuine relationship" rule would be a nice change.

I'm writing a fan-fiction called Anomalous Materials. The idea is that Gina Cross, Colette Green, & Richard Keller, after they were killed in the explosion that took out The Black Mesa Research Facility, ended up being resurrected as ponies in Equestria. They are, however, unconscious for the first 4 years. Gina & Colette are Unicorns (Intelligent, deal with stuff that would seem like magic to humans), while Richard is a Pegasus (I just figured it would be silly).

Because it's been few and far between for stories recently (myself included, I have a lot written but not in the right order and not complete yet for Repurposed to be uploaded). I'm not sure how everyone would respond to the pony angle, but I think most of us are pretty cool with it if not fans outright.

Canon for each game includes things that were in the final published game. So whatever you see in the actual game's release, that's considered canon. Blue Shift, Opposing Force from HL, and then Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate from Fear, those are considered to be 'pseudo canon' because while they were sold by the main company, they aren't BY the original creators and thus the main company can say what they want players to think of as 'in their world'. Barney Calhoun is from Blue Shift, but Valve took him on as canon - in name, it's not necessarily what we play AS him in the game, but they liked the name and that he was the guy who owed Gordon a beer.
A lot of companies release what's called their "lore bible" which contains the official stuff, a lot of sci fi tv shows and games and such have them available but some companies don't let fans see them.

Yes, having played the games would probably help in figuring that out. I mean a couple of them should be fairly obvious by virtue of those games being insanely popular in certain circles (like, Glados and Gordon?) but since I chose to make pretty much any and all minor characters and folks that don't necessarily even have faces/models in the games, that could be rather difficult to determine
If you've got Steam, they have a sale going, not sure what all is on it but generally speaking they put Half Life, Portal and Fear all on sale numerous times during the year. All of them well worth playing.

yea, i've done portal 2 multi at my friends, and have Black Mesa, a free remake of Halflife that just makes the graphics look incredable, but nohing do do with fear yet

Yeah Black Mesa is just superb visually. I love the details that they put in, the desks that the developers got as easter eggs (vicky who did some of the female voices has a desk near the bio dome lol) and all the background discussions. So alive!

Are you an idiot troll or what? Yes, actually the creations in Repurposed are not the canon versions of any characters, but rather my own takes on them. They in no way are meant to represent the actual way I believe the developers of said games created them, nor what they have in mind for their works. They do not in any way replace my view of the actual canon creations who would not become ponies, mer-people, elves, zombies (with the exception of the zombies), or any other creation in other universes. Mine, however, bleed easily into new universes, not the least of which is Equestria.
Don't like it? Don't fucking view it, pretty simple math huh Bob? Do you somehow think that by insulting my work or the effort I went through to create this image, that I'll "see the light" and stop enjoying Ponies, Half Life, Portal or Fear, or writing my own work? Because... you know, that's stupid. And it's a reflection on your own attitude - I know I can't change your mind and make you like ponies, so... Why not just leave it alone like a good person and behave yourself in a manner that still leaves anyone respecting you?

Well, that's the thing, I was using only what the maker could do. Folding them down like that is quite hard, really, because you can't remove or add limbs or extras. It's that third arm that can't be put on the Vorts that bugs me, actually. The 'ears' serve all right and the horns are meant to be extra eyes... but lol they really are quite completely alien even though they're bipedal humanoids. love those vorts.
