EDIT on Dec. 10, 2008:Darkened the picture to bring out the detail and was able to bring it into better focus.
This is Ironhide from the 2007 Transformers Movie.
I drew this with a #2 mechanical pencil, .7mm lead, free hand. It took 4 hours to draw.
OMG, I bow to anyone who has drawn or even attempted to draw this mech. I was amazed at how much more difficult his is to draw than Optimus. There are so many angles and the shading had to be done for better detail on this one.
Again, not a steady hand when it comes to straight lines and curves, but I find that, with this particular drawing, it worked for me.

Ironhide has the face of an animal... i cant put my finger on it, but... i wanna say a dog, or a gorilla....
anywho, i loves ironhide. my friend and i like to write fanfictions, and everyday during lunch, i have these rants that gets my friends laughing and ironhide is always thrown into the mix.
Like she has this idea she wants to put into her fc, something with lennox's sister works at a resturant at home or some odd thing idk, anywho, lennoxs sister, (forgot her name madup character she ((sarah)) owns) and the girl leans out the window and she calls ironhide for a dilivery and he doesnt come so she keeps screaming for ironhide cuz he has to bring order to the guys house and he finally shows up. ironhide goes "you do kno i dont have to listen to you right"
the girl says "You do kno i can slash your tires and make you look like shit right?"
and then there was some other thing she made up, cuz ironhide was standing in lennox's roses, he got in trouble and lennox made him wash the dishes, and i go "could you imagine one of ironhides cannons being turned into a soap dispencer?"

Officially, Ironhide is modeled after a bulldog. So, his face looks a bit like a bulldog's face. Good eye on catching that he has animalistic features.
I read a story where the twins played a prank on Ironhide and turned his cannons into silly string dispencers. That story is called, "When In Doubt" by i-love-me-some-leggypoo on fanfiction.net.
There was another story I read where someone recalibrated Ironhide's cannons to shoot bubbles. Maybe that one was in leggy's story and the silly string was someone else...crap, can't remember...
Ironhide wasn't happy in either situation, though

Oh, I thought you knew...The Twins are two of the original Transformers from the 1980's. They are canon characters that like to play pranks and make jokes. There is a bit of a dark side to one of them, but that is the general idea of them. Their names are: Sunstreaker and Sideswipe.
I hear that they are going to be in the next TF movie, so we are pretty excited about that

They really are twins...There was only supposed to be one, but the spark actually split and created two.
Yea, Arcee looks pretty badass. I'm partial to Elita One and Chromia, though. They are the original femmes from the original G1 show, though Arcee was introduced a couple years later in the 1986 Transformers Movie.

I bow back to you! I tried drawing him and then left him to rot in a corner half-completed. I'm still very proud of the work I've done, but I just can't bring myself to finish the poor old guy...

Yeah, thanks dude! I think I'll have four drinks...one for each hour it took me to draw this. LOL! And yea, I figure an entire, detailed, body drawng could take up to 12 hours. The cannons alone would be eye numbing! Have you really taken a good look at those things? They look like turbo engines from a jet. Freaking awesome detail!
Oh yea, I'd need a whole case of drinks after that
