Description Well, I kinda needed something to get my juices flowing again (man, what a week away from Rhino will do to a person), and I've recently seen the movie Stardust (which is an awesome movie, by the way) so after seeing that airship, I felt compelled to work on my old one and here's the result; the Motor Air Clipper (M/A.C.) Sträle.^^

For the few who are interested, the Sträle, in its world of Drakengard, is a four-rotor Zebolt Air Clipper powered by Steam. Being an average-sized ship, it has wider capabilities than its larger, heavier six-rotor sister ships. This particular one is owned by Captain Daleth and is used mostly for transportation (whether for goods or people, legally or illegally) but also has limited warship capabilities with five cannons on each side. Each cannon is also manned by a mage, who’ll enchant the cannonball with a certain magic to cause a desired effect (fire, electricity, and other dark magics).

So yeah, that’s all I feel like writing about now, kinda tired, so do enjoy…or don’t….whatever you wish

Yep, but only a fancy outer layer I was gonna put more metal plating on other areas of the ship, but it looked kinda stupid. -_- By the way, how are the textures? That's obviously my weak point and I'm just curious with what I could improve on^^

Hermmm, do you have Photo shop? Thats an obvious starting point. Try taking pictures of surfaces with a digital camera of things you could use for textures.

Nice Model, really good job, but try to take some more detailed maps or make a better render with vray for example...it will be much better unless the fact that it is already a good picture ;D

Thanks!^^ Yeah, the texturing is obviously my weak point It's quite hard to find any decent textures that are free as well. If you know of anything, texture wise or with that vray you mentioned, do tell, it'd be very much appreciated.

You already downloaded 3dmax, diddnt u? So Vray is an extensions of that program for a better and faster rendering. If u need 3dsMax download Vuze or Azureus... actually the same .. go on PirateBay.com and search for it and download the latest version...i guess its 9.0 .. then search for V-Ray...probably u get a combined package.

ooo yeah, I gotta get me a copy of that.^^ I kinda based the Sträle on the FFIX airship Prima Vista and the airship from Stardust. I loved that airship so much....
