Necroscope fanart. This is one of my favorite ones. Radu the Lykan, a werewolf in Brian Lumley's world. Vamphyri are susceptibly to the disease leprosy, and this includes the werewolf sub-group of the vamphyri. Radu, who was actually a noble Zygani from Starside, contracted his vampirism from a wolf and so became a "werewolf" vamphyri. Unfortunately he contracted leprosy. His symptoms progressed and eventually he got the idea to use amber to entomb himself to preserve himself for the day when they could cure leprosy or to change his mind into another body, this happened to be Harry. I really really really wanted Radu to make it. I was sad after all the torturous life he had at the hands of the vamphyri, and he hated them, and they feared him, I hoped he would be free and maybe not get Harry but at least get cured. Sadly he didn't.
