Here you can see Black & White Janenba
they're my OC Here's part of their story in short
Chaos during his travel through dimension met both of them...
In one universe race called Oni (yes they're those red & blue devils from Hell in DB) rebelled against the Kaioshins and created demon Janenba...
Gods were pushed to defense... many of them were killed in the war...
One day Kaioshins managed to obtain Janenba's "construction plans" and created their own demon but with different attitude...
Two demons were equal... so their fights almost always finished with draw...
They were called Black an White Janenba because of their colors, which also reflected their attitude.
BJ was evil and WJ was good, but this is obvious
When Chaos came to this dimension, war lasted for almost 5 thousand years...
Oni, Kaioshin's and many other races which joined the conflict were almost extinct...
You can call this war "Universe War" because conflict engulfed whole universe... this war was also called "Demon Wars" because Hoi and Majin's took part in the conflict creating their own Demons, Buu and Hildegarn... but they were destroyed before Chaos reached this dimension...
So now you know how they were created and consequences of this

Honestly I don't think any artist should claim to be better than another. I don't think there's really a wrong way to do art..sure there are rules and guidelines to follow like composition and proportions but when it comes to style there is no one set way. I don't think your work is any less than mine. If you feel you need work in areas (which we all do) I say keep at it and you'll overcome those areas in no time.
