Description
Mizuko Kajiwara and Tabitha Grace, a fierce rivalry that extends so far back as of February of last year, the two will finally have their conclusion match at this year’s TitleWave PPV! To those who can’t remember how this feud started- it was ever since Mizuko became the first wrestler to make Tabitha tap out in her young wrestling career. Ever since this loss, Tuna Fish hasn't been able to live with herself. Knowing that she will never be able to take back the moment in her career, Tabitha made it her sole mission to get her atonement by defeating Mizuko by any means necessary. And she did!- after five losses in a row and after Mizuko decided to make their next match a handicap bout which ultimately got Tabitha her only win in their rivalry. Even though accomplishing what she set out to do, did Tabitha actually win in the end? Now having a 1-5 stain on her record and some considering her one win illegitimate, Tabitha didn’t feel fulfilled. She needed one more match with the Koi Fish.
So, Tabitha organized with Leviathan executives to cut a live promo to call out Mizuko for one final rematch at the TitleWave PPV. Easy enough right? Wrong. Mizuko ultimately took Tabitha’s rematch request and verbally beat her over the head with it. The self-proclaimed “THE UwU bish that runs this place” dropped one of the biggest roast-fest promos that Leviathan has ever aired. Embarrassed on national television and having her rematch declined, Tuna Fish knew she would need to get her comeuppance another way. So during an exhibition match for Mizuko, Tabitha brutally attacked her foe before the match and even made the Koi Fish tap out! It of course didn’t count, but it did show the world that Mizuko can tap! Seeing the fans’ demands for them to fight, Leviathan officials ultimately booked a final rematch at TitleWave!
All caught up? Good, let’s get to the blood bath!
If fans were expecting a match full of submissions and back-n-forth reversals, they were going to get exactly that! Some would argue that this would be Tabitha’s match in her career as she left EVERYTHING in the ring tonight. But for Mizuko… this wouldn’t be the best showing in her wrestling career.
Starting the beginning match portion off, Mizuko seemed to have control of the match- somewhat. Mizuko would go in her usual routine of wearing down her opponent’s extremities and then lock them in submissions. Well after many matches with her rival and doing her individual training, Tabitha was able to pick up some notes on Mizuko. So each time Mizuko went for her usual favorite submissions, Tabitha had answers for them by quickly escaping the moves or reversing the moves into her own submission holds on Koi Fish. Tabitha would then go on her own offensive as she began attacking her foe with ranged attacks. This began to get on Mizuko’s nerves as the weaknesses of her wrestling game were being exposed for all to see!
Seeing her usual moves in her arsenal being negated, Mizuko knew she would need to mix things up! One high-risk and high-reward move Mizuko performed included a Top Rope Backstabber! It definitely left knee prints in Tabitha’s back but it also left Mizuko stunned as the back of her head hit the mat. Yet the Koi Fish would try several more of these effective albeit self-damaging moves to inflict as much pain to Tabitha. Yet this may have affected the match for Mizuko in the long run…
Just as Mizuko put pain on Tabitha via these high-risk moves or with the follow-up submissions- Tabitha refused to tap or pass out! Showing pure heart out in the ring, Tabitha would either painstakingly crawl to the ropes or break from the holds with pure strength. And the fans were loving every bit of it! Each time Tabitha broke free, the fans would seem to pop louder than the last escape! At one point in the match, Mizuko looked to have Tabitha entrenched in a deep Boston Crab + Headscissors combo! Looks as if her lights were slowly going out Tabitha considered giving up. It was until the cries from fans to not do so as when Tabitha found her second wind. Hammering away Mizuko’s thighs before going for a roll-up pin attempt would free herself!
As we mentioned before, those daredevil moves didn’t do any favors for Mizuko; we meant it as the Koi Fish looked slower for the rest of the match. It would even cause Mizuko to unintentionally loosen her submission holds making means of escape easier and easier. Tabitha even had a hand in adding to Mizuko’s head trauma. By using her boxing background, Tabitha would give Mizuko the bare-knuckle experience. It was until one nasty Discus Forearm would drop Mizuko to her knees where the finale of the match would come.
Tabitha as well would drop to a knee to catch her breath, this was where the two rivalries would have a brief exchange. “This is it- you will tap out,” Tabitha said after each deep breath. Breathing heavily as well and looking to pass out at any second, Mizuko would return with “Do. Ya worst…Bish!” Having a bit more strength thanks to Mizuko’s last comment, Tabitha would reach over and lock her head in a Dragon Sleeper. Mizuko would however try to resist and even flipped Tabitha the double bird for her troubles. But the persistent Tuna Fish would prevail and fully lock in the hold! This would cause Mizuko to pass almost instantly, but part of the stipulation of the match- it was a submission-only match. So Tabitha, wanting to get her revenge once and for all, began to brutally slap Mizuko’s belly to wake her up. The slaps would work in waking Mizuko as well as leaving very red hand marks all over Mizuko’s belly. Each time Mizuko would wake up, she would fall victim to the Dragon Sleeper and pass out just to be woken up by a slap a moment earlier. In this endless cycle of hell, Mizuko would have little to no choice, but to tap out…
In a MASSIVE upset, Tabitha would achieve what seemed to be impossible, she made the Submission Sadist tap! Finally settled the score with an uneven record of 2-6 against Mizuko. Although picking up this win, some analysts considered this a Pyrrhic victory. Although Tabitha was thrown off the mountain several times to achieve this win, would the costs of Tabitha’s record justify the means? Whatever the case is, Tabitha wasn’t worried about that, all that she cared about was the fact that she FINALLY did it! She finally beat the person who was haunting her nightmares in her wrestling career. The small thorn that Tabitha felt will never let her go and grow in her career. Finally, fans and Tabitha-alike can put an ending to this long rivalry… for now.
