Early birthday pic for my butt ~Kaitshelter

I was planning another picture for you but no matter what, my sketches were failing on me :I So I just grabbed this picture and continued from where I left it back in January. Back then I was almost done with everything but the background. So I put it aside till now because I wanted to finish it ;__; I love this picture. It's my former fursona(now one of my dearest OCs) Yuki and her amazing boy Gray ;u; I JUST ADORE GRAY I'd steal him if I could. But I'm afraid Yuki would kill me >.>

But yes, I drew our couple as a gift for both of us I shall say(all the personal art /o/)

I am so grateful that you exist and that your parents conceived you in this very day, about 16 years and 9 months ago :'D <3
Although it is school on Monday, I really hope you will enjoy this day because I'm hella happy about this day because it's they day you were born at

Wish I could be a better sister to you because you deserve much better from me ;u;

MAN I had this started since... January 11th. Good lord, the traditional sketch was done even earlier.
And I worked on it till I got to the background and dropped it because the file was huge and I couldn't work properly ;__; Even now when I twitched the background, it was still very hard to work with. Sai crashed and it didn't even let me save it as .png nor change the resolution of the drawing(original is 4000x3000 :'D Sweet joy)

But I am happy with it <3 Another full piece since ever. I had a style change back then and I'm trying to twitch it to my please.

Tools used: Paint Tool SAI & Photoshop CS3 & Pencil+Paper(for sketching)
Time taken: Roughly 7-10 hours. I can't estimate well because I've had it started since January and I have redone the background several times till I got it right. Besides I get distracted all the time D|
