Are you relatively new to digital photography, and want your work to look more polished?Then this is for you!
I am going to share some tips and suggestions that helped me when I first started out, without getting into technical details.
It might take a while to load, please be patient
Please feel free to point out any corrections/additions.

WOW, thanks for these tips! I am an EXTREME newbie, just recently trying to make that giant leap from family snapshots to artistic photography with my new Rebel.
I have been using PSP for graphics for awhile but it's a whole new ballgame with photos, lol.
I am also new to DA so I am really appreciative of the DA Gallery tips as well!!

Thank you for this lovely tut. I just got a pretty fine new digital camera for Christmas and am a bit lost starting with it. Til now I've only spent time with it trying to get to know it and its functions (by taking pictures of me, my friends and my pets 
It just started snowing ALOT here in Finland so maybe I'll be able to find some beautiful snowy landscape to practise with the tips I just got

I happened to already to know all this stuff, and had even the same camera settings, though I hadn't really known other people would consider them the best. But anyway, it's very reader/user-friendly, with a pleasing, comfortable layout, and I just think it's a great tutorial for beginners! Thank you for sharing!
