Description
This is Appletart. She was born in Stable 88. A control Stable meaning it didn't have any of the experiements that many of the other Stables were used for.

As a young filly she was teased because of her name and she was the oldest filly of her age group to not have a cutie mark and also because she is an Albino. She is pure white, including her mane and tail but she also has bright red eyes.

Her Stable became under attack but a band of Raiders who had a powerful cutting device that was able to cut through the huge thick steel door of the Stable and began to kill everypony in sight.

Appletart's mother, the Overmare of Stable 88 hit the panic button, opening a Panic Room inside her office and locked Appletart in it to protect her. The Panic Room was designed to seal itself until the threat was over.

After two days the room finally unsealed and opened, letting her out. She was horrified at the death that covered her Stable now. As she moved through the Stable, the horror soon turned to anger as she saw mutilated bodies of fillies and colts along with their parents. Soon she found the body of her mother. She had been raped multiple times before being shot in the head. Appletart used her telekinetic magic to carry her mother's body down into Maintenance and put her into the fernice to creamate her.

After that she was boiling with rage and she entered her mother's office. On the wall was a display case with a Repeater Rifle which had been customised with a mid range scope and a couple of boxes of ammo. Taking the ammo and the rifle she decided to leave her Stable, there was no reason to stay anymore that everypony she knew was dead.

After leaving the Stable and exiting the cave which lead to the Stable Door she detected two red markers on her Eyes Forward Sparkle. Using the scope of her Repeater she recongised the two Ponies, the Raiders. She had seen them on a security monitor before entering the Panic Room.

She saw red, before she knew what she was doing she was aiming down the scope of the rifle at the first Raider she seen. While she was aiming a squad of Steel Rangers were heading towards her on a patrol and noticed the brilliant white unicorn filly easily from how she stood out in the gloom.

The Rangers noticed she was aiming a rare type of rifle at some ponies and when they realised what she was aiming at...bang...one of the Raiders fell from a bullet to the eye.

They watched as the second Raider turned to see their attacker only to get a bullet between the eyes. Because Appletart was too focused on killing the Raiders she didn't notice the Rangers approach her. When she did she felt fear and dropped her rifle.

One of the Rangers, a mare, told her she saw potential in her shooting skills and told her she could be trained to be a good markspony. Given that she had lost everything of a life in her Stable she agreed to go with the Rangers.

After being tested with fire arms, they found she was a natural with long range weapons. In the firing range she never failed to get a head shot with the Reapter at various ranges. To be sure of her skill they erected a range outside so they could position a dummy at a distance further away from than the normal range would give. With the range of the target, the mid range scope didn't make it that much clearer for her but still after ten minutes of aiming she fired and the shot struck the dummy's head. Seeing the head of the dummy explode her flanks flashed as a cutie mark appeared that resembled the cross hairs of her Repeater's scope. It seems her special talent is with long ranged weapons.

After that she was trained as a sniper. She recieved her own Power Armour and a special Battle Saddle that would allow for inter changeable weapons. The Ranger branch she was at didn't have much of anything of a sniper rifle for the battle saddle but the Quarter Master did tell her of a special weapon he had in the back that was brocken. The weapon inparticular was a 50 Caliber Anti-Machine Sniper Rifle that had a damaged firing mechanism.

He made her a deal, if she could fix the weapon, she could keep it. As her special talent was in long ranged weapons she was also a natural at repairing such weapons and she was able to easily fix the firing mechansim and so she was rewarded with the most powerful type of sniper.

The weapon appears to be able to punch through almost any solid object, including armour. That was its good point, however its bad points, it had a low rate of fire and the worst thing was how loud it was. The boom that escaped the muzzle of the weapon could be heard from miles away and if any pony was close enough that wasn't wearing ear protection or the helmets of the power armour they would be deafened.

After fully being trained as a sniper she recieved the name "Longshot".

When off duty she got fed up of ponies staring at her total white body so she had her mane and tail dyed red to match her eyes, making her look normal...ish.

After several years of service she became the best sniper in her area of the Steel Rangers. However, in those years she saw things she didn't like about the Rangers. For years she tolerated the bad things that they were doing, attacking ponies for technology, not helping ponies in need and simply killing ponies or ignoring ponies in need of help.

One day, she was on patrol with one other Steel Ranger. She heard a cry for help and the two of them found a Raider raping a mare. Her team mate killed the Raider but as the Mare started running towards them screaming thanks, he killed her too.

That was the last straw, she saw red again, like after her Stable was attacked. As he turned around he was looking down the barrel of the 50cal. Even though she couldn't see his face she could tell he was full of fear. Without saying a word, she fired, the 50cal made the Steel Ranger's head explode in a shower of blood, bone and shapnel.

After that she severed her link with the Steel Rangers and went Rouge. She decided she would use her skills to help any pony in need, like what the Steel Rangers should of done to begin with.
