"I'm not letting her get away this time!" Chad calls out, rolling onto his side on his rocky perch but keeping the beam from his gun focused on the elf-girl's hand.

Tinker grins as she steps closer to the ongoing fight. She raises her hand as her mechanized minion captures the villainess's other foot. She hesitates for a moment. When she brings her hand down, that will signal the minion to fire its rockets and fly the elf away from this place. She hates the idea of giving up another of her pre-made minions, seeing Jennifer rushing away with the other in her peripheral vision. But the elf is too dangerous for any other choice. It hurts to let her get away, but they need her out of this fight.

“Bright Li’hyen,” the strange words suddenly fill the night.

Though she doesn't understand the words, she recognizes the voice immediately. It is Jennifer singing, though obviously recorded and played back loud over a speaker system. At once, she is filled with a sensation of longing. It is as though every fibre of her being suddenly desires the source of this music.

Elly has felt the effects of Jennifer's power before, but never so strongly. Though the music is emanating from the metal grating beneath her, she knows the true source. Before she realizes what she is doing, her little drone has released its elven captive and is turning its turret toward the fleeing blue-haired girl.

She watches the beam from Chad's gun flicker off, and then sees him begin to turn the barrel toward her. The elf girl turns her attention toward Tinker as well, a hungry grin spreading across her features.
