It's that time of year again! The one month out of the year that I whip out my acrylic paints and brushes and create art on canvas ....IT MUST BE CHRISTMAS!
Every year, our family does a secret santa type gift exchange, and this year I got one of my aunts (who I think is totally expecting a painting, after doing one for my other aunt and grandma in previous years 😂 The little mind games we've exchanged are hilarious). I picked each of the flowers based on their meanings, and went for ones that fit the recipient most! I like to call 'em "personality portraits" :3c
Jasmine: Friendliness, cheerfulness, grace & elegance
Delphinium: Big-heartedness & fun
Pink Carnation: Love of a woman / mother
Amaryllis Splendid beauty & worth beyond beauty
Bouvardia: Enthusiasm & zest for life
Lily of the Valley: Sweetness & purity of heart
Snapdragon: Graciousness & strength
Bluebell: Humility, constancy, & delicacy

Yes and no. English is not my first language - thought "snapdragon" was a rarely used Zelda enemy, which coincidentally looks rather like an amaryllis with teeth.
